Job Title: Residential and Commercial Cleaning Staff
Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Residential/Cleaning Cleaning Staff team. As a member of our cleaning staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our clients’ homes or commercial spaces.
The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for creating a comfortable and sanitary living environment for our clients’ residences, and ensure a safe and inviting environment for our clients’ commercial spaces and their customers.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform General Cleaning Tasks:
– Execute daily cleaning tasks according to the established cleaning schedule
– Dusting, wiping and polishing surfaces, furniture and fixtures
– Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
– Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen and bathroom surfaces
– Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
– Emptying trash bins and replacing liners
– For Commercial Cleaning: Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
– For Commercial Cleaning: Follow proper safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required.
– For Commercial Cleaning: Handle and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
– Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors.
2. Detailed Cleaning:
– Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, and remote controls
– Wiping down baseboards, window sills, and other surfaces
– Cleaning and polishing mirrors and glass surfaces
3. Bedroom Cleaning:
– Making beds and changing linens
– Organizing and tidying up bedrooms
4. Kitchen Cleaning:
– Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen appliances, countertops, and sinks
– Washing dishes and putting them away
5. Bathroom Cleaning:
– Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, toilets, showers, and sinks, ensuring hygiene standards are met
– Replacing toiletries and restocking supplies
6. Laundry Assistance:
– Washing, drying, and folding laundry as needed
7. Attention to Detail:
– Paying special attention to areas that may require extra cleaning or organizing
– Notifying the supervisor of any maintenance issues or damages in the client’s home
8. Time Management:
– Completing assigned tasks within the specified time frame
– Managing time efficiently to ensure all cleaning duties are accomplished
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, or related field, preferred
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment, and techniques
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
– Excellent time management and multitasking/organizational skills
– Strong communication skills
– Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
– Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Working Conditions:
– This position involves physical labor and may require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
– Flexible work hours may be necessary to accommodate client schedules.
– Must adhere to health and safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid driver’s license (if required for the position).
3. Ability to pass a background check.
4. Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
5. Reliable transportation to and from work.
